(5/17/2013) - At the Fountain Theatricals, a new theatre organization at Stanford University, will host its Inaugural Event today, May 17 at 3pm. The organization is aimed at providing students with additional opportunities for arts education and musical theatre performance. To present their mission to the Stanford student body and the general public, the inaugural event will consist of an introduction to the organization by the founding members as well as keynote speaker, Broadway's Josh Gad. Mr. Gad will also participate in a Q&A session following his speech.

1300 Students to Attend CYT-North Idaho's GREAT AMERICAN TALL TALES
(5/7/2013) - Over 1300 local school children will attend one of 4 Field Trip Performances staged by CYT-NI during their 2 week run at the S.A. Kroc Community Theater. CYT-North Idaho's Great American Tall Tales has been a great draw for schools because it's storytelling at its best about many of American's first folk heroes. Davy Crockett, Paul Bunyan, Sally Ann Thunder, and John Henry are just some of the characters a group of students see come to life before their eyes after the museum closes for the day.

In this spirit, the Women's and Children's Alliance (WCA) is partnering with the Idaho Human Rights Education Center (IHREC) to present 'The World of Anne Frank: A Community Reading for Remembrance,' tonight, May 2, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the Morrison Center for Performing Arts.
CYT-North Idaho's Davy Crockett to Read to Children at Local Libraries, 5/8
(5/1/2013) - CYT-North Idaho's Davey, from their upcoming spring musical, Great American Tall Tales, will be reading to children and performing at the Hayden Library, the Coeur d'Alene Library, and the Liberty Lake Library on May 8. Crockett will read from at 10:30 a.m. in Hayden; 1 p.m. in Coeur d'Alene and 4 p.m. in Liberty Lake. Davy Crockett and some of his fellow characters will also perform a musical number from the show and will be available for pictures.
Titus Theatricals to Launch THE BENCH Ticket Sales on International Jazz Day, 4/30
(4/29/2013) - Titus Theatricals is launching ticket sales for its July 13, 2013 Broadway-style reading of The Bench-Journey Into Love on International Jazz Day, April 30. (4/27/2013) - Tickets are now on sale for Christian Youth Theater - North Idaho's (CYT-NI) spring musical, Great American Tall Tales. This production which has over 100 local school age children between the cast and crew, opens May 17 at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater, 1765 W.Golf Course Rd., Coeur d'Alene, ID. All of the children are currently taking theater arts classes during CYT's spring session of their after-school theater arts education program.

Fridays by the Fountain 2013 Summer Concert Schedule Announced
(4/26/2013) - The Morris Performing Arts Center, Sunny 101.5, and WNDU are pleased to announce the outdoor summer concert series --Fridays by the Fountain presented by Memorial Regional Cancer Center. This will be the 13th year that the FREE CONCERTS have been held and are open to the public. Rock, Irish, Blues, R&B, Country and Children's bands, along with the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts students from Indiana University - South Bend will take "the stage" in the Jon R. Hunt Plaza in front of the historic Morris Performing Arts Center during lunchtime from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., this year on thirteen consecutive Fridays in June, July and August.
